我们课题组旨在了解中枢神经系统或周围神经系统中不同的神经胶质细胞（如少突胶质细胞，星形胶质细胞和雪旺氏细胞）在神经系统损伤后是如何产生的，如何塑造病理学并且它们是如何影响损伤后的再生修复。我们已经建立了一系列动物模型，比如多发性硬化症，脊髓损伤，视神经损伤和自闭症，以及脑肿瘤动物模型。我们的研究目标是剖析这些神经系统疾病的分子机制，并通过促进髓鞘修复，神经再生或各种神经系统疾病的功能恢复来开发有效的疗法，同时阻止脑部肿瘤的发生和发展。

Our group aims to understand how distinct glialcell subtypes (Oligodendrocytes, Astrocytes and Schwann cells) in the centraland peripheral nervous systems are generated, and how they shape pathology and repairafter injury. We have established a series of animal models for multiplesclerosis, spinal cord injury, optic nerve injury and autisms, as well as braintumor animal models. Our research goal is to dissect the molecular mechanismsof these neurological diseases and develop effective therapies throughpromoting myelin repair, nerve regeneration or functional recovery in variousneurological diseases, while blocking brain tumor initiation and progression.
